New Cambodian Entry Procedure:
No More Passport Stamps

Starting from July 1, 2025, Cambodia has modernized its entry procedure with the introduction of the V-PASS system — a digital alternative to traditional passport stamping. This update is part of the country’s effort to simplify border processes and move toward fully digital immigration procedures.

What does this mean for travelers?

  • Visitors will no longer receive a physical stamp in their passport upon arrival.
  • Instead, a digital confirmation of entry will be sent automatically via email.
  • This document is issued based on the e-Arrival Card, which every traveler must complete either before or upon arrival.

✔️ No impact for ASEV Travel guests
This change does not affect any travel arrangements for ASEV travelers.
The only difference is that the passport will no longer be manually stamped. Cambodian authorities now use digital records in line with international border management standards.

ℹ️  Important note:
The email confirmation from immigration can be kept as proof of entry, but no additional action is required from travelers who are touring with ASEV Travel.

At ASEV Travel, we are keeping a close eye on these developments and integrating these options into our itineraries to offer our travelers innovative, environmentally-friendly solutions tailored to new expectations.
