ASEV Travel Joins Forces with ChildSafe

ASEV Travel is proud to announce our latest partnership with the award-winning advocacy and action-oriented child protection movement: ChildSafe.

Operating across Southeast Asia, ASEV Travel works closely with local communities—many of which are located in areas where children can be particularly vulnerable to risks such as forced labor, begging, or abuse. In these environments, the presence of tourism brings both opportunities and responsibilities.

The ChildSafe Movement brings over 20 years of experience in equipping individuals and organizations with practical tools to prevent child exploitation. Through this partnership, ASEV Travel is aligning with internationally recognized good practices to reinforce its role in promoting responsible and ethical travel.

As part of this engagement, ASEV Travel is working progressively towards the ChildSafe 7-star certification system. Each star marks a milestone in applying child protection standards across business operations: from internal policies and team training, to guest awareness and community outreach.

We encourage all our partners—agents, suppliers, and travelers—to take part in this effort. A simple place to start is by reading and sharing the “7 Tips for Travelers” provided by ChildSafe, which offer practical advice on how to travel in a way that respects and safeguards local children.

Tourism has the potential to uplift communities—but it must also ensure the safety and well-being of those most at risk. Through this collaboration with ChildSafe, ASEV Travel takes another step in fostering a more ethical and socially responsible travel industry.

At ASEV Travel, we are keeping a close eye on these developments and integrating these options into our itineraries to offer our travelers innovative, environmentally-friendly solutions tailored to new expectations.
