You will cruise on the Mekong from Luang Prabang to Pakbeng, a village in northern Laos, bordering the Thai border. Tra Su mangrove forest
In the Mekong Delta, Tra Su mangrove forest offers a wonderful diverse wildlife.
From September to November every year is a time when the water surface is fully covered by thick duckweed which makes it look like a green road. Sailing on this "green road" on a small boat is truly a mesmerizing experience. During the dry season, a lot of bird nests can be found and the forest is filled with songs of many species of birds. Tra Su is a prime example of a perfect solution to the balance of the economic growth and the nature preservation.

Thung Nham Bird Park - a new raw gem of Ninh Binh.
The Thung Nham Bird Garden, part of the renowned Trang An landscape complex, is the largest nature reserve in the North and is situated in the Thung Nham ecotourism area. It stands out with the fresh air of the mountains and forests, like a miniature “oasis” full of clarity. After millions of years, nature has chosen this location for its rich and unusual flora and fauna ecosystem, naturally occurring caverns, and distinctive trans-water caverns.
Pu Luong Nature Reserve
Pu Luong, just 150 km from Hanoi, offers a wild landscape of great nature.
This reserve is dotted with charming villages and hamlets, each with its own history, spread throughout the park. The Tay people make up the majority of the communities in the reserve. The homes of the Tay people are constructed on raised stilts, and they are experts at growing wet rice, which creates an amazing view of the rice terrace landscape year-round.
