Cambodia is a Southeast Asian country bordered by Thailand to the west, Laos to the north, and Vietnam to the east and southeast. Covering 181,035 square kilometers, Cambodia boasts a diverse landscape. Its 443-kilometer sea border along the southern coastline overlooks the Gulf of Thailand, providing access to vital maritime resources and trade routes.

Cambodia is home to three significant mountain ranges. In the south, the Elephant Mountains offer breathtaking views and unique biodiversity. In the west, the Cardamom Mountains form a natural barrier, rich in forests and wildlife. The Annamite Cordillera, along the eastern border with Vietnam, adds to the country’s rugged terrain and ecological diversity.

Ream National Park

A multitude of fish, crabs, shrimps and molluscs come to take refuge or breed, while hundreds of bird species nest or stop during their long migration.
